100 Submissions in Record Time: Why Real Music Needs Honest Voices
It’s been an incredible start. We just hit our first 100 submissions! Let’s talk about late-night review sessions, keeping this project 100% free, and how we are building a sustainable platform from the scene, for the scene.

Wow. 100 submissions in just a matter of days. When SPINLOG started, the goal was simple: give independent artists a fair, free, and honest platform to be heard. Seeing how many of you trust us with your art is absolutely mind-blowing.
Blood, Sweat, and Late Nights
The last few days have been incredibly intense. Every single evening has been dedicated to you - listening, reviewing, writing, editing, and finalizing articles. We know how much passion, time, and heart you pour into a pitch. That’s why we sit down every night to treat your music with the exact same level of dedication.
Of course, to handle this kind of volume, we rely on custom background automations and smart workflows to scale the platform smoothly. But make no mistake: the actual listening and reviewing will always be 100% human.
The Filter: Heart, Story, and Honesty
Let’s be completely transparent: we don’t just accept everything. SPINLOG is about authentic music culture. What truly matters to us is the story, the heart, and the honesty behind the tracks. We want to feel the energy of the artist. Soulless, fully AI-generated tracks without human emotion? No chance. We are looking for the real stuff.
What’s Next: Finding a Sustainable Rhythm
SPINLOG is my absolute passion project. I love doing this, and I promise you: It will stay 100% free.
However, I also have to be realistic - I cannot turn this into a full-time job. To keep the quality high and maintain a healthy balance, we are adjusting our output to a sustainable level of 3 to 5 reviews per day.
Through our submission system, you can easily check the status of your track to see if it has been accepted for an article or a playlist. If you get the green light, rest assured: magic will happen, it just might take a few days!
Join the Movement
This platform grows with you. You are the driving force behind SPINLOG. If you love what we do, the biggest support you can give us is to share our articles, tell your friends, and spread the word.
We are also looking to expand the family:
Become a Moderator: If you have a burning passion for indie music and want to volunteer as a reviewer or moderator (from the scene, for the scene), please reach out! Let's give great music a voice together.
Infrastructure Partners: Right now, I am paying for all the hosting and server infrastructure out of my own pocket simply because I love this project. If there is a tech partner or sponsor out there willing to support our hosting costs, we’d love to connect!
Thank you for 100 incredible tracks. Let’s keep pushing the underground forward.
