Alastair Macduff Previews Debut LP With 'Said your name'
Glasgow-born, Sweden-based artist Alastair Macduff pairs backwoods solitude with a nod to Broadcast.

Alastair Macduff tracked 'Said your name' out in the Swedish backwoods, running an old M-Audio MIDI controller through a bank of presets before taking the project to a studio to mix and master. It lands this week as the second single and formal opening statement for his upcoming debut LP 'Kåtebol', set for release on Friday, October 2nd.
While late-era Talk Talk anchors the album as a whole, this particular cut pulls its mood straight from Broadcast. Built around atmospheric synth patches and vocal contributions from his daughter Ingrid, the track moves between melancholic and uplifting, working best as quiet company for an autumn walk through the trees.
