Alchemy of Life Delivers Nostalgic Power Metal Magic in 'The Dungeon and the Dragon'
A soaring fantasy epic that turns tabletop nostalgia into a poignant reflection on growing up.

Matteo Bosi returns to his heavy roots with 'The Dungeon and the Dragon', a power metal project under his Alchemy of Life moniker. Drawing clear inspiration from classic Rhapsody-style symphonic metal, the track kicks off with everything you would expect from the genre: grand guitar riffs, mythical forests, and high-stakes fantasy storytelling.
What makes the song stick, though, is where it ends up. What starts as an ode to teenage Dungeons & Dragons nights slowly turns into a quiet realization about time moving on. Once the soaring solos performed by guitar teacher Khaled Abbas wrap up, the fantasy fades out, leaving a surprisingly genuine reflection on lost youth, distant friends, and the real-world fates no roll of the dice can change.
