BENji Crafts Moody Late-Night Atmosphere on 'TIMELESS'

Ghana-born singer-songwriter and Howard University student BENji steps out with 'TIMELESS', a cohesive debut album grounded in dark, atmospheric R&B. Drawing inspiration from modern lane-definers like PARTYNEXTDOOR, Bryson Tiller, and Drake, the project unpacks late-night thoughts, relationship strain, and personal growth with unvarnished honesty. Built around wide reverbs, warm low-end, and layered vocal arrangements, the record prioritizes raw feeling over flashy studio tricks.

Handling his own songwriting, vocal tracking, and mixing, BENji keeps the focus tight across the album's tracklist. The result feels intimate and unhurried, capturing those quiet, early-morning conversations and lingering memories through smooth melodies and moody trap-soul production.
