Candlewax Craft Vintage Trip Hop Ambience on 'Someone Call the Doctor'
A gritty, moody downtempo slice driven by analog gear and head-nodding grooves.

UK artist Candlewax digs deep into late-night Trip Hop with 'Someone Call the Doctor', a track layered in shadowy atmospheres and classic beat work. Channeling the golden era of instrumental hip hop, the piece relies on heavy basslines, subtle sample cuts, and warm synth work to build its brooding mood.
Built on a setup featuring the Bass Station 2, Minilogue XD, and MPC workflow, the production keeps things natural and unhurried. The hypnotic rhythm gives the synth layers room to breathe, creating a dark, steady groove that hits right for fans of instrumental beatcraft.
