Existential Threat Keep It Real on Acoustic Cut 'Taking My Time'
US trio Existential Threat lean into raw guitar strums and dry humor on this stripped-back indie rock track.

Pulled from their album 'Abstract Naturally', US trio Existential Threat drop the polished production fluff for something much more grounded on 'Taking My Time'. Tracked straight to a Zoom portable recorder, the song sticks strictly to basic acoustic guitar, bass, and drums. The songwriting tackles the double-edged sword of patience, poking fun at the frustration of watching a buddy chase after someone who is clearly wiggling out of their life.
The vocal delivery feels like a real conversation, leaving room for the steady rhythm to do its work without getting cluttered. By relying on a honest, home-studio setup, Existential Threat deliver an easygoing indie track that hits with genuine character.
