HUTELEVOXUN, the project of US musician Will Dee, creates a distinct sound world on 'Paradigmatic Illusions'. Built using Roland and Behringer synths, tape-style layering, and a contact-miked banjo, the track blends spacey ambient tones with smooth jazz chord changes. Born out of music originally written for sci-fi zines, it moves between drone textures and steady, subtle grooves.
Recorded layer by layer to sound like a full ensemble, the song gradually unlocks new melodies as instruments stack up. By placing acoustic sounds alongside synth patches, HUTELEVOXUN delivers a strange, fluid track that feels both futuristic and grounded.
