Jedi Hassen Channels Raw Grief into Melodic Techno Masterpiece 'Still Waiting For You'

Texas-based producer Jedi Hassen has unveiled his official debut single, 'Still Waiting For You', a melancholic melodic electronic masterpiece that bridges the gap between intense emotion and high-energy dancefloors. Drawing from his background as a professional circus and trapeze performer with Cirque du Soleil, Hassen crafts music with a distinct kinetic and visual energy.

Dedicated to a close friend who passed away, 'Still Waiting For You' explores the heavy reality of grief, longing, and bittersweet hope. Operating at a driving 128 BPM, the arrangement cleverly mirrors the emotional stages of loss. It opens with a raw, vulnerable vocal delivery before building into an aggressive, progressive arrangement packed with sweeping synth layers and a heavy, pounding rhythmic heartbeat.

Mixed across Ableton Live and Pro Tools, the track leans into a rich, analog atmosphere. Influenced by progressive rock titans like Dream Theater as well as electronic trailblazers, Hassen entirely produced, tracked, and mixed this stunningly intimate yet expansive release solo.
