JUUZ: The Protein Soda That Took Over Our Studio Fridge

It’s 9 pm. The session started in the afternoon, dinner was a handful of crackers somewhere between two bounces, and your focus is slowly drifting off. You want something cold. But another sugary soda means a crash in an hour, and a protein shake next to the mixer just feels wrong.

That gap is exactly where JUUZ lives. A few weeks ago a tray of cans landed in our studio, and since then they’ve quietly taken over the fridge.

A limo first

JUUZ comes from Ettlingen, just outside Karlsruhe, and the idea behind it is refreshingly simple: make a drink that tastes like a real limo and happens to bring real protein. No gym bro branding, no thick texture, no shaker bottle to wash afterwards. You open the can, it fizzes, and it tastes like a soft drink should.

What’s in the can

Each 330 ml can has 15 grams of protein from whey, zero sugar and only around 20 kcal per 100 ml. It’s lactose-free and fat-free, so it doesn’t sit heavy in your stomach during a long night. The cans say it best: “Null Zucker, viel Sprudel.” Zero sugar, lots of fizz.

The lineup

The flavours are crisp and fruity: Lemon, Orange and Berry. For the really long nights there’s also a Protein Cola Lemon with an extra kick of caffeine, and that one is our honest studio favourite.

Why it works at the desk

We’re not nutritionists, and we won’t pretend a can of anything makes your mix better. But swapping the third energy drink of the day for something without sugar that actually keeps you full for a while made a noticeable difference to how our late sessions feel. Less crash, more focus, and one less excuse to stop for snacks.

Stay tuned

This won’t be the last you hear about JUUZ from us. We’re cooking up something together for our community, so keep an eye on our channels.
