Portuguese painter, poet, and multi-instrumentalist Rafael Vaza has released 'Improvisation trio', an atmospheric ambient piece recorded without a click track. Taking inspiration from King Crimson's 'Trio', Vaza layered three separate instruments sequentially, tracking a Yamaha Reface DX synth flute melody first before following up with clean guitar chords and a steady Ibanez bass line. The freeform arrangement skips traditional rhythmic structures, relying instead on a fluid progression that mirrors the quiet, untouched energy of a hidden forest lake.
