Selfon Strips Electronic Pop to the Bones on Stupid
A raw, skeletal alt-pop cut that handles isolation with heavy minimalism.
By Markus ยท
Italian producer Selfon delivers a sharp, no-nonsense piece of electronic minimalism with 'Stupid'. The track moves at a steady 135 BPM clip, locking down an alt-pop groove with a lean, repetitive guitar riff and deadpan vocals. Instead of cluttering the mix with polished arrangements, the production leans on raw sample roots and basic rhythm loops, leaving plenty of room for the track's bittersweet outsider perspective to hit home.
