Shw!n Breaks Clean on Raw, Soulful New Single 'ego'

After his band parted ways in 2024, Singaporean songwriter and engineer Shw!n turned a tough transitional period into total artistic freedom. His new track 'ego', pulled from his 'Babeanna' EP, channels that exact feeling of hitting the road without a map. Built right at his desk with an RME interface, a Squier bass, and a 10-year-old Fender Strat, the track carries a beautiful, unpolished DIY grit. Clocking in at a relaxed 85 BPM, it mixes alternative indie vibes with smooth soul undertones. Shw!n, who grew up playing drums under his mother's guidance, steps up to the mic here, locking in layered vocal melodies that vibe perfectly with his rhythmic roots.
