sjkeva - leave the window open
A raw, beautifully quiet slowcore track built for late-night overthinking.

Hungarian indie musician sjkeva just dropped 'leave the window open', the fourth track from an upcoming EP he is recording with his brother. The song is a minimalist masterpiece that perfectly captures that exact feeling of sitting up alone past midnight, opening the window, and letting the cold air hit your face. Using a basic Cort CR100 electric guitar direct into his DAW, Keva double-tracked the rhythms, rolled off the high ends for a dusty lofi texture, and buried the lead melody in deep, dreamy reverb while his brother holds down the low end on bass. If you are into the slow, heavy isolation of bands like Duster or sign crushes motorist, this beautifully melancholic slice of slowcore is going to stay on repeat for a long time.
