Where Memories Are Made
A furniture store by day, a basement club by night - Münster's newest address for house, EDM and trance is hiding right at the Roggenmarkt.

Münster's nightlife just got a new address worth talking about and it's hiding in plain sight. Behind the doors of a BoConcept furniture showroom at Roggenmarkt 11 lies a spiral staircase that, come weekend, leads down into something completely different: W2.
The space itself isn't new to the scene. This basement vault has cycled through legendary Münster club names over the decades - Lilos, Insomnia, Vendôme, Le Club, and anyone who's been out in this city for a while will recognize it immediately, even freshly renovated. What's changed is the concept behind it. W2 is tied directly to Weinerei, the well-known bar on Hörsterstraße, and the story behind it is a good one: DJ sets after dinner service at the Weinerei got so popular that the space simply ran out of room. So the team expanded downward instead, turning a furniture store's entrance into a nightclub gateway once the sun goes down. Monday through Friday, it's a design showroom. Friday and Saturday night, the entrance transforms and that spiral staircase opens the way down.
Despite being underground, the sound system holds its own, surprisingly strong for a basement space, with ventilation that actually keeps up. The door team sets the tone before you're even inside, friendly and chatty in a way that feels more like part of the night than a checkpoint. Security stayed just as approachable once inside, a quick chat here and there that made the whole place feel more like a familiar hangout than a club with a guest list to prove. Entry sits between €5 and €10 depending on the event, and on a recent visit, just €5 got you in. In 2026, that's rare.
The lineup backs up the hype. Recent nights have featured Kollektiv Connect, Kalora, JSKO, Dai-Namic, Luc-V & Hays, ALYF, 808 Saint, JONAH SON, MXTN, DJ KASZ, FREITRIEB, freitakt and Foplkn b2b JW, alongside sets from open-format DJ @bastimiliani, who plays across Münster, Düsseldorf, Cologne and NRW more broadly, with a range that stretches from club nights to weddings and events.
What really made the night, though, was a conversation with the Operations Manager running the show. We swapped Instagrams and ended up talking for a while - the scene, DJs, producers, where he wants to take the place next. It's obvious this isn't just a job for him. One thing worth flagging for anyone watching this space: the plan isn't to stay locked into House, EDM and Trance alone. Hip-hop crossover nights are coming, which would set W2 apart even further from the rest of Münster's going-out scene.
And here's the part that matters most for our readers: W2 is open to local DJs applying directly via Instagram. If you're producing, spinning, or building a following in the scene and want a shot at the booth, this is your in.
We'll be back - not to report next time, just to soak up the atmosphere and the beat. Reach out, tag along, and let's help turn W2 into an address known beyond Münster's city limits.
